Dr. Pamela Ebmeier......
began her career in Optometry as a teenager in her father's private practice in southern Illinois. She worked during the summers and Saturdays until going off to college. After earning her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Illinois in 1988, she continued on to Optometry school.

She attended the University of Missouri St Louis School of Optometry and graduated with honors in 1992. After her internship in Florida, she fell in love with the sunshine state and decided to make South Florida her home. Dr Ebmeier is board certified to treat and manage ocular disease as defined by the Florida Board of Optometry. She keeps current on all new procedures and treatments by attending over 30 hours of continuing education biannually. Dr. Pam Ebmeier spent 9 years in a private Ophthalmology practice in Boca Raton, where she served as the clinical director for the last year.


Dr. Ebmeier specializes in pre and postoperative cataract management and refractive surgical care, glaucoma and ocular disease management. She is currently an associate professor at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry. She served as a clinical examiner for the Optometry National Boards. Dr. Ebmeier has lectured in Continuing Education courses for colleagues throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties and has given numerous informational presentations to the public. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Broward County Optometric Association. Dr. Pam Ebmeier was given the privilege of membership in the American Academy of Optometry as a Fellow of the Academy.


Dr. Cheryl Ebmeier... also began her optometric career in her father's private practice as a teenager. She worked in the finishing lab making glasses and performing patient testing since before the age of 13. Dr. Cheryl attended the University of Illinois earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1996. In August of 1996 she moved to Florida to be with her sister and begin Optometry school at Nova Southeastern University. Cheryl earned honors in both of her externships for her competency, knowledge, and patient management skills. She received her Doctorate of Optometry in May of 2000.

Dr Cheryl has extensive experience in managing pre and post-operative refractive surgery patients. She is skilled in determining candidacy and setting realistic expectations of patients desiring laser eye surgery.  Dr Cheryl is also proficient in difficult contact lens fittings and spectacle prescriptions for those patients who are not interested in the Lasik trend.   

Dr Cheryl Ebmeier is board certified by the Florida Department of Regulations and is licensed to diagnose and treat eye disease with ocular pharmaceuticals. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and has served as a Trustee of the Broward County Optometric Association. In 2002 she completed a 50-hour course to become one of the first optometrists in Florida trained to administer systemic oral and injected medications.
